For twenty years, Florian Silbereisen has been celebrating the opening of the Christmas markets in the Advent season with the Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights. Together with celebrity guests, the pop musician lights the first candles at the Eurovision show and gets the audience in the mood for the festive Christmas season. In 2024, Florian Silbereisen celebrated his 20th anniversary, with guests including Thomas Gottschalk, Andrea Berg, DJ Ötzi, Vincent Weiss and Semino Rossi.
